The leather is full grain Wickett & Craig — one of the oldest and most respected tanneries in America. Vegetable tanned the traditional way, it arrives stiff and structured and becomes something else entirely over time. The tan deepens. The grain softens. Creases form where your hands find it every day. Six months from now it will look better than it does today. A year from now, better still. This is leather that rewards use.
Every stitch is pulled by hand using the saddle stitch method — two needles, one thread, locked at every hole. If a stitch ever breaks, the seam holds.
The SL stamp on the face isn't decoration. It's a signature. Every piece we make is built start to finish by one craftsperson — no assembly line, no division of labor, no shortcuts. That's our standard.

Care
Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Condition with leather balm every 6–12 months. Keep away from prolonged moisture. This leather will patina naturally with use — that's not a flaw, it's the point.
